Dining in

As a rule, I don’t follow rules especially when I’m home alone on a Friday night and a thin crust smoked meat pizza is on the menu – you can bet I’m going to drink whatever is left on my wine rack. If on the other hand, I’m sitting down to a multi-course meal, suddenly I become a law-abiding oeno-snob ready to surrender to the rules as dictated by the combined efforts of the chef and sommelier.
